Announcements
Employee Case Assist / PUM Upgrade Projects
The UCPath March 2024 Release includes updates to the Employee Case Assist, PUM 47 Upgrade, and Automate Disability Reinstatement projects. UCPath will launch these updates during the March Release, which is scheduled to be completed on Monday, March 11, 2024.
During implementation:
- UCPath will be unavailable from Friday, March 8, 12:00 p.m. - Monday March 11, 6:00 a.m.
- Ask UCPath will be unavailable on Saturday, March 9 from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
- Pending AWE transactions should be approved before the system outage, by Thursday, March 7 at 3:00 p.m.

PayPath Lockdown

2023 W-2 Forms are Now Available!
Employees received an alert from the UCPath Center advising 2023 W-2 statements are now available to access online. Employees who did not opt-in for an electronic version may still access their W-2 in UCPath, and a printed W-2 will be mailed out.
- To access your W-2, visit UCPath and click on Employee Actions > Income and Taxes > View Online W-2/W-2C.
- Please use Chrome or Firefox when downloading your form.

New SCT / Direct Retro Processing Calendar Available
UCPath created a new processing schedule for SCT transactions so users can track deadlines for SCT approvals and when they should expect to see approved transactions in the Labor and General Ledgers. UCPath modified the processing schedule for Direct Retro transactions to occur on a monthly basis.
Use our updated calendar with two components to identify deadlines for SCT transactions (Tab 1) and Direct Retro transactions (Tab 2).

Position Funding Report
A new UCPath Cognos report was released in the Campus Data Warehouse (CDW) to help departments identify filled positions that lack funding or have an impending end date. Additionally, it assists users in recognizing vacant positions within their department. For more details, please see review our recent article.

New Benefit: Enroll in Experian Identity Theft Protection Training

Exciting news! UC employees will soon have access to an identity theft protection plan. Benefits-eligible faculty, staff, and retirees will be automatically enrolled in an Experian Identity Theft Protection Plan beginning April 1, 2024. Enroll in an Experian training session this March to learn more about this new benefit and how to enroll a dependent.

UCPath Center News
Job Record End Date Monitoring
There are more than 14,600 employee records and 400 contingent worker records with an "Expected Job End Date" of March 31, 2024. Upon reaching the "Expected Job End Date," UCPath will terminate employees with expired jobs for which the "End Job Automatically" box is selected. To avoid unintended impacts such as termination, pay discrepancies, termination of benefits, system access interruptions or overpayments, please complete the following action items:
- Run the Jobs with Approaching End Dates (R-103) report and the Escalation/Reminder of Approaching Job End Dates (R-384) reports.
- Review job records with upcoming end dates that are scheduled to auto-terminate and determine the required action.
Updated 2024 UCPath Production Processing Schedule
The 2024 UCPath Production Processing Schedule (V 02.05.24) has been updated with new UCPath Center processing dates for the BW 1 Pay Period ending on 3/2/24 (Run ID 240302B1X). If you have this schedule printed, please make sure to update your copy to the latest version.
